G&T Prestige Ltd. Unveils Sankofa Job Initiative to Connect Ghanaian Employers With Talent
G&T Prestige Ltd. is expanding its business initiatives with the planned launch of Sankofa Job, a digital platform designed to connect employers with job seekers and encourage more employment opportunities in Ghana.
The company has scheduled the platform’s official launch for Friday, October 30, 2026. Job seekers will be able to access the service free of charge, create profiles, apply for vacancies and connect with organisations recruiting new staff.
Sankofa Job is being introduced as a platform for improving access to recruitment opportunities while encouraging employers to make genuine vacancies more visible to qualified candidates.
A Digital Approach to Recruitment
For businesses, finding suitable employees and reaching qualified applicants are important parts of recruitment. Sankofa Job aims to bring employers and job seekers together through a central digital platform.
G&T Prestige Ltd. is encouraging businesses to advertise legitimate vacancies, offer fair compensation and consider qualified Ghanaian candidates for available positions.
The company is also seeking collaboration with government institutions, public agencies, private-sector organisations and other stakeholders.
These partnerships could extend beyond vacancy advertising to include training, mentorship, sponsored opportunities and professional development programmes, according to the company’s announcement.
Graduates and National Service personnel are among the groups the initiative hopes to connect with employment opportunities.
Founder Draws on International Experience
The initiative is led by Anthony Akwasi Gyamfi, PharmD, founder and chief executive officer of G&T Prestige Ltd.
Dr Gyamfi, a pharmacist and pharmacy manager based in Manhattan, New York, says the project reflects his desire to bring knowledge and opportunities back to Ghana.
“Sankofa means ‘go back and get it’. I went far, I learnt, and now I have come back to bring it home. If a young man with one book bag and no dollar could cross the bridge, so can you. And this time, you will not cross alone,” he said.
The statement captures the company’s emphasis on using knowledge and experience to support other people’s professional journeys.
Diaspora Partnerships Form Part of the Vision
G&T Prestige Ltd. is inviting Ghanaians abroad to support the initiative by mentoring professionals, hiring Ghanaian talent, investing in opportunities and promoting the platform among family and friends in Ghana.
The company is also encouraging media organisations and members of the public to help spread awareness of Sankofa Job before its launch.
G&T Prestige Ltd. was registered in Ghana in October 2025 and is headquartered in Abuakwa, Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region.
Sankofa Job is one of its flagship projects. The company has also outlined plans for Adwuma Pa Podcast and Ankoaa, which is scheduled for 2027.
Its motto is “Cross The Bridge. Pons, Fides, Futurum: The Bridge, The Trust, The Future.”
